Zusammenfassung

In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden 59 westpalaärktische Arten der Gattung Coelichneumon THOMSON revidiert und beschrieben, ebenso einzelne bisher zu Coelichneumon gestellte Arten.

Als neue Arten werden beschrieben: Coelichneumon graecatorr nov.sp., Coelichneumon italicus nov.sp., Coelichneumon parvulus nov.sp., Coelichneumon pedemontanus nov.sp., Coelichneumon sardinicus nov.sp. und Coelichneumon zwakhalsi nov.sp.

Folgende neue Synonyme werden festgestellt: Coelichneumon atratorius (VILLERS 1789) , syn.nov. Ichneumon mayri TISCHBEIN 1873 undd Ichneumon nigritarsis KRIECHBAUMER 1889 ; Coelichneumon biguttorius (THUNBERG 1789) , syn.nov. Amblyteles laticeps RUDOWW 1888 , Ichneumon ferreus var. Neue Kombinationen sind Thyrateles imperiosus (WESMAEL 1857) nov.comb. und Spilothyrateles cabrerai (BERTHOUMIEU 1903) nov.comb. Coelichneumon deliratorius (LINNAEUS 1758) wird wieder in die Gattung Ichneumon gestellt (rev. stat.), ebenso Ichneumon erebus B ERTHOUMIEU 1903 (rev. stat.).
