Type material: Holotype female, CHINA: Hunan Province, Liuyang County (28.1 °N, 113.6 °E), Daweishan National Forest Park, 7 October 2003, Dr Xiang Xu leg. ( IZCAS)
Etymology: The specific name is a Latin adjective in apposition, meaning “indistinct” and referring to the epigynal teeth having very light color which are hard to be seen.
Diagnosis: This new species is similar to C. inabaensis Arita, 1974 in having the large copulatory ducts, but can be distinguished by the distinct and large spermathecal head.
Description: Female. Holotype total length 11.0, prosoma 6.0 long, 3.8 wide; opisthosoma 5.0 long, 3.6 wide. Eye measurements: AME 0.13; ALE 0.25; PME 0.20; PLE 0.25; AME –AME 0.18; AME –ALE 0.13; ALE –PLE 0.13; PME –PME 0.18; PME –PLE 0.35. Clypeus 0.28. Chelicerae with 3 promarginal teeth and 2 retromarginal ( Fig. 14View FIGURES 14 – 16). Leg IV longest; leg formula: IV, I, II, III; the measurement of legs is as follows: I: 14.1 (4.0 + 5.0 + 3.1 + 2.0); II: 12.5 (3.7 + 4.3 + 2.8 + 1.7); III: 11.7 (3.3 + 3.6 + 3.0 + 1.8); IV: 16.7 (4.3 + 5.4 + 4.8 + 2.2).
Epigynal teeth small, situated anteriorly anterad of atrium, separated by slightly less than atrial width; atrium large, with a broad membranous septum; copulatory ducts large, originated posteriorly between spermathecae and extended anteriorly; spermathecae widely separated, extended longitudinally; spermathecal head situated laterally ( Figs 15 –16View FIGURES 14 – 16, 30– 31View FIGURES 30 – 31).
