Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from its congeners by the costal part of the valva with fine clustered spines on the distal half along ventral margin, and the cornuti of the aedeagus consisting of a bundle of short spines.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 2–6 ). Wingspan 16.0 mm. Head yellow. Antenna with scape dark brown except yellow on anterior margin; flagellum yellowish brown, ringed with brown on dorsal surface. Labial palpus with second palpomere yellow on inner surface, yellowish brown on outer surface; third palpomere yellow, with scattered brown scales. Thorax and tegula yellow, tegula mixed with brown at base. Forewing yellow; costal margin blackish brown at base; discal, discocellular and plical spots blackish brown, discocellular spot rounded, larger, plical spot narrowly elongate; tornal spot blackish brown, diffused; terminal dots blackish brown, ranging from preapex along termen to tornus; fringe yellow. Hindwing and fringe whitish brown. Fore- and midlegs dark brown on dorsal surface, yellow on ventral surface, tarsus yellow at apex of each tarsomere; hindleg yellow, tarsus yellow mixed with brown scales; inner spurs yellowish brown, outer spurs dark brown.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 7–11 ): Tegumen arched, widened medially, lateral part narrow, sub-triangularly produced at middle on posterior margin. Gnathos a wide transverse plate, sub-rectangular. Costal part of valva with basal 2/5 uniformly wide, distal 3/5 gradually narrowed to preapex, bent downward at preapex, beak-shaped apically, with clustered spines along distal half of ventral margin; saccular part of valva wide at base, distinctly narrowed to basal 2/5, narrowed medially, distal 2/5 elliptically dilated and setose, rounded apically; dorsal margin straight; ventral margin sinuate in basal 2/5, shallowly concave inward medially. Juxta membranous, narrow basally, widened distally, rounded on posterior margin; anterior margin heavily sclerotized, projected medially; lateral margin weakly sclerotized, forming a slender bar. Aedeagus straight, slightly shorter than saccular part of valva; cornuti consisting of a pile of short spines.
