Ephippion guttifer (Bennett, 1831)

Irvine name. Recorded both by the name above and as Tetraodon pustulatus Murray (a riverine species; S: BMNH 1866.6.14.5–6). The latter is a misidentification.

Distribution. Coast of West Africa from Morocco to Angola, including offshore islands: entering estuaries (Quéro et al., 1990).
