Records. Recorded by hunting calendar (09°15.898′S, 068°58.372′W) and opportunistic sightings.

Identification. The dark brown carapace, with yellow edges, presents 10–13 moveable bands, which are not

well separated. The head has more than 50 plates, which are irregularly distributed. The tail is not entirely covered with dermal plates, which are few in number and sparsely distributed ( Hayssen 2014).
