Diagnosis. Male. In the group VII key of Borgmeier (1966), M. creasoni fails the key at couplet 12 where it matches M. minuta Aldrich in costal index (CI) but differs in having very lightly colored legs ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 9 ) compared to the dark mid and hing legs of M. minuta .

Distribution. Los Angeles, California ( USA).

Etymology. Named in honor of Glen Creason, host of BioSCAN site 27.

Biology. Unknown.

Holotype. ♂, USA: CALIFORNIA: Los Angeles, Elysian Park, 3–10.V.2014, Harding, Malaise trap ( LACM 329766).
