Description of juvenile instars. Measurements. Total length of larva: 270–285 (n=6), protonymph: 315–330 (n=3), deutonymph: 390–420 (n=9), tritonymph: 495–570 (n=3). Total width of larva: 135–150 (n=6), protonymph: 180– 195 (n=3), deutonymph: 225–255 (n=9), tritonymph: 330–375 (n=3).

Integument ( Figs 1A, B View FIGURE 1 ; 2B View FIGURE 2 ; 3A, B View FIGURE 3 ; 4B View FIGURE 4 ; 5A View FIGURE 5 ; 9A, E View FIGURE 9 ). Body color colorless to light yellowish. Body surface densely porose (distinctly visible in epimeral region); additionally, gastronotum and anogenital region partially slightly folded.

Prodorsum ( Figs 1A View FIGURE 1 ; 2A View FIGURE 2 ; 3A View FIGURE 3 ; 4A View FIGURE 4 ; 5A, B View FIGURE 5 ; 9A–C View FIGURE 9 ). Relatively short, about 1/2 (in larva) and 2/3 (in nymphal instars) length of gastronotic region. Rostrum broadly rounded. Lateral carina distinctly visible in dorsal aspect. Rostral (LA: 41–45; PN: 52–56; DN: 60–64; TN: 75–86), lamellar (LA: 75–79; PN: 79–86; DN: 112–124; TN: 146–161), interlamellar (LA: 105–120: PN: 135–142; DN: 176–187; TN: 214–262), and exobothridial (LA: 19–30; PN: 30–34; DN: 41–49; TN: 52–56) setae setiform, barbed. Bothridial seta (LA: 45–45; PN: 52–56; DN: 64–71; TN: 82–94) clavate, barbed.

Gastronotic region ( Figs 1A View FIGURE 1 ; 2A View FIGURE 2 ; 3A View FIGURE 3 ; 4A View FIGURE 4 ; 5A, B View FIGURE 5 ; 9A, B, F View FIGURE 9 ). Gastronotic macrosclerite (shield) not observed. Posteriorly rather rounded. Larva with 12, nymphal instars with 15 pairs of subflagellate (except setiform c 2 and posteroventral setae), barbed setae; all setae with microsclerite at the base, usually microsclerite at the base of c 2 largest. Length of gastronotic setae: LA: da, la, dm, lm: 244–255, c 1, c 3, dp: 202–217, lp, h 1: 131–142, h 2: 47–49, c 2: 19–30, h 3: 17–19, plus two pairs of paraproctal setae, namely, p 1: 13–15, p 2: 7; PN: la, lm: 229–236, c 1, c 3, da, dm, dp, h 1: 195–202, lp, h 3: 116–124, p 1: 49–52, h 2: 41–45, c 2: 19–30, p 2, p 3: 17–19; DN: la, lm: 375–390, c 1, c 3, da, dm, dp, h 1: 296–300, lp, h 3: 202–210, p 1: 109–139, h 2: 109–112, p 2: 56, p 3: 34, c 2: 30–34; TN: la, lm: 390–405, c 1, c 3, da, dm, dp, h 1, h 3: 296–315, lp, h 2: 210–221, p 1: 161–165, p 2: 112–116, p 3: 90–94, c 2: 30–37. Opisthonotal gland opening and all cupules distinct.

Gnathosoma (5C–F, 9D). Subcapitulum size: LA: 71 × 71; PN: 82 × 75; DN: 94 × 86; TN: 124 × 112; length of subcapitular seta a: LA: 11; PN: 13; DN: 15; TN: 26; length of subcapitular setae m and h: LA: 13; PN: 19; DN: 26; TN: 34; all subcapitular setae setiform, barbed; seta m with microsclerite at the base; length of adoral setae: LA: 4; PN: 6; DN: 7; TN: 9; all adoral setae setiform, roughened to slightly barbed. Palp length: LA: 52; PN: 64; DN: 75; TN: 105; palp formula: 0-2-1-3-9(+ω); in larva, solenidion appressed to tarsal surface, not connected with eupathidium versus in nymphal instars, solenidion mediodistally attached with eupathidium; length of postpalpal seta: LA, PN, DN: 7; TN: 9. Chelicera length: LA: 71; PN: 90; DN: 105; TN: 135; length of cha: LA: 22; PN: 26; DN: 34; TN: 49; length of chb: LA: 15; PN: 17; DN: 22; TN: 26; both cheliceral setae setiform, barbed.

Epimeral region ( Figs 1B View FIGURE 1 ; 2B View FIGURE 2 ; 3B View FIGURE 3 ; 4B View FIGURE 4 ; 5A, B View FIGURE 5 ; 9E View FIGURE 9 ). Setal formulas for epimeres: larva: 3-1-2 (1c as typical scale covering Claparède’s organ); protonymph 3-1-2-1; deutonymph 3-1-2-2, tritonymph 3-1-3-3; length of setae: LA: 3b: 17–19, others: 13–15; PN: 1a, 2a, 3a: 13–15, others: 19; DN: 1a, 2a, 3a, 4b: 17–19, others: 24–26; TN: 1a, 2a, 3a, 4b: 19–26, others: 30–37; all setae setiform, 1a, 2a, 3a, 4b roughened, others slightly barbed.

Anogenital region ( Figs 1B View FIGURE 1 ; 2B View FIGURE 2 ; 3B View FIGURE 3 ; 4B View FIGURE 4 ; 5A, B View FIGURE 5 ; 9G View FIGURE 9 ). Ontogeny of genital (PN, DN: 13–15; TN: 19–26), aggenital (DN: 15; TN: 19–26), anal (TN: an 1: 30–37, an 2: 19–26), and adanal (DN: 19–22; TN: 30–37) setal formulas, proto- to tritonymph: 1-3-5, 0-1-1, 0-0-2, 0-2-2, respectively; all setae setiform, roughened or slightly barbed; paraproctal segment with two setae in larva (with gastronotic setae p), protonymph (with vestigial adanal setae) and deutonymph (with vestigial anal setae). Both adanal setae with small microsclerite at the base. Adanal cupule distinct; anal cupule not observed.

Legs ( Figs 6A–C View FIGURE 6 ; 7A, B View FIGURE 7 ; 8A, B View FIGURE 8 ). Claw of each leg dorsally slightly barbed. Femora I-IV with distinct ventroantiaxial porose area. Formulas of leg setation and solenidia: larva I (0-2-2-3-16) [1-1-1], II (0-2-2-2-13) [1- 1-1], III (0-2-1-1-13) [1-1-0]; protonymph I (0-2-2-3-16) [1-1-2], II (0-2-2-2-13) [1-1-1], III (0-2-1-1-13) [1-1-0], IV (0-0-0-0-7) [0-0-0]; deutonymph I (0-4-2-3-16) [1-2-2], II (0-4-2-2-13) [1-1-2], III (1-3-1-1-13) [1-1-0], IV (0-2- 1-1-12) [0-1-0]; tritonymph I (1-4-3-4-18) [1-2-2], II (1-4-2-3-15) [1-1-2], III (1-3-1-3-15) [1-1-0], IV (1-2-2-3-12) [0-1-0]; homologies of setae and solenidia indicated in Table 1 View TABLE 1 ; all solenidia rod-like on genua, setiform on tibiae, bacilliform (in larva) or rod-like (in nymphal instars) on tarsi.
