Malegenitalia ( Fig. 6 View Figs 1–6 ). Uncusrelativelylong, slightlydilatedtowardsapex, itstip abruptlypointedtoahook- likestructure. Scaphiumaslongasuncus, slightlysinuous. Vinculumaslongastegumen. Saccusnarrow-basedbutlong, slightlytapering, itstip rounded. Juxtarounded. Valvarelativelyshort, edgesofmedialhalfparallel, basalpartrelativelybroad; costalprocesslarge, biggestinthislineage, broadlytriangularwithpointed andslightlydistallycurvedtip. Diagnosis. Themalegenitaliaofthisnewspeciesaresomewhatsimilar to those of N. glauculalis , but the uncus is narrower in N. furcatella than in N. glauculalis , thesaccusismuchlonger, thedistalfusedstructureofthevalva islongerandprocess- like, theaedeagusislesscurved, thevesicaisarmedby twostrongcornuti, andastrikinglylongcostalprocessispresentinthevalva.
Thefemalegenitaliaof N. furcatella arereminiscenttothoseof N. ineffectalis sensuHolloway ( Figs 20–21 View Figs 19–24 ), butinthenewspeciesthesternumA7 is longer, thecorpusbursaeislesselongate, globular, andmorescobinatethan in N. ineffectalis .
