Diagnosis. Predominantly dark brown. Wings yellowish. Subcallus pollinose.

Redescription. Female (holotype). Head. Frons dark brown, shiny, with silver pollinosity beside the frontal callus. Frontal callus narrower than frons, dark brown. Subcallus dark brown with dense silver pollinosity. Scape dark brown, with silver pollinosity basally; white hairs proximally and black hairs distally. Pedicel dark brown with black hairs. Flagellum dark brown with yellowish-gray pollinosity. Basal flagellomere with dorsal spine, reaching the third flagellomere. Palpus yellow to light brown, with silverwhitish pollinosity and white hairs, with a few black hairs apically. Face and parafacia dark brown, with silver-whitish pollinosity. Gena and postgena dark brown, with white pollinosity and white hairs.

Thorax. Scutum and scutellum dark brown, with gray pollinosity and dark brown to black hairs. Postpronotal lobe brown to dark brown with gray pollinosity and mixed white and black hairs. Notopleuron dark brown with dense gray pollinosity and black hairs. Proepisternum and proepimeron dark brown with dense silver-gray pollinosity and white hairs. Anepisternum brown to dark brown with silver-gray pollinosity, white hairs anteriorly and black hairs posteriorly. Anepimeron and katepisternum brown to dark brown with silver-gray pollinosity and white hairs. Katepimeron brown to dark brown with silver-gray pollinosity. Katatergite brown to dark brown with silver gray pollinosity and white hairs. Coxa brown to dark brown, with silver gray pollinosity and mixed white and black hairs. Femur dark brown with dark brown hairs. Fore and mid tibiae proximally yellow with white hairs on the anterior, anterodorsal, dorsal, posterodorsal and posterior sides; with black hairs on the anteroventral, ventral and posteroventral sides; distally dark brown with dark brown hairs. Hind tibia dark brown with dark brown hairs, except for white hairs proximally on the dorsal and posterodorsal sides. Tarsus dark brown with dark brown hairs, except for reddish hairs ventrally. Wing yellow to light brown, venation yellow. Pterostigma yellow. Halter yellow, whitish at apex.

Abdomen. Tergite 1 dark brown with dark brown hairs. Tergites 2 and 3 dark brown with dark brown hairs, except for yellow hairs distally, best seen in posterior view, forming stripes. Tergite 4 dark brown with dark brown hairs. The remaining tergites as tergite 2 and 3. Sternites dark brown with dark brown hairs proximally, distal margin light brown with yellow hairs forming bands, best seen in posterior view.

Measurements. (n = 1, holotype) Body length: 11.4mm. Wing length: 10.8mm. Frontal index: 4. Divergence index: 1.1.

Male: unknown.

Type-locality. Brazil (Amazonas, Rio Negro, São Gabriel da Cachoeira).

Distribution. Brazil (Amazonas).
