Material examined: Holotype male ( NSM no. A 67: 23B), JAPAN: Hikawa, 17.vi.1981.
Diagnostic characters. See key.
Male. Description as in Sasa (1983: 4, figs 1A–F) with the following corrections: frontal tubercles absent; anal point constricted near base and expanded in distal one-third, with ridge extending to tergite IX. The wing and hypopygium of the holotype are re-drawn in Figs 41–43 View FIGURES 41 – 43 ; the setae on squama are not drawn as they are broken.
Distribution. The species is recorded from Japan.
