This is a new species for Hong Kong, determined from Habu (1981) and determination confirmed by Bernd Jaeger from specimens. Material: 1 ex. W.T.L., 2.iii.12; 1 ex. W.T.L., 15.iii.08; 1 ex. W.T.L., 15.iii.12; 1 ex. W.T.L., 15.iii.15; Ƌ and ♀ W.T.L., 19.iii.15; Ƌ W.T.L., 28.iii.15; Ƌ W.T.L., 30.iii.15; ♀ W.T.L., 2.iv.15; Ƌ W.T.L., 4.iv.15; 1 ex. W.T.L., 24.iii.07; 1 ex. W.T.L., 18.v.08; 2 exx. W.T.L., June 2011; 1 ex. W.T.L., 8.vii.07; 1 ex. W.T.L., 27.ix.15; 1 ex. W.T.L., October 2011. Biology: Imago found March to October. Attracted to light and fully winged.

Acupalpus (Stenolophidius) sinuellus Bates 1892 View in CoL

New record for Hong Kong. This is the first record of this species for Hong Kong and probably China. Determined from specimens by Bernd Jaeger. Material: 5 exx. Hong Kong, Tung Ping Chau, 25.i.14 underneath dried caked mud, in small reservoir, locally abundant with up to 100 adults per metre square. Biology: Imago found January. Probably associated with fresh water.
