Comment: The distribution of the micropterous L. eppelsheimii is confined to the Northwest Caucasus. The above material suggests that it is rather common, at least in some regions of its range. It was collected by sifting leaf litter and other debris in various types of forest (open oak forest, beech forest, fir forest, mixed beech and fir forests) at altitudes of 750-1000 m (SMETANA pers. comm.).
