Type material — holotype [by original designation]: MZSP 30760; paratypes: MZSP 29844 (12 spms.), MZSP 29845 (29 spms.), MZSP 29846 (12 spms.). Type locality —“ Brazil – Pará: Xingu River, between Senador José Porfiro and Porto de Moz; 2°04'15''S 52°14'43.5'' W ”. Distribution —Xingu River between Senador José Porfirio and Porto de Moz cities, Pará, Brazil.
