3. Adelencyrtus biannulatus sp. n.

( Figs 10−15 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 )

Description. Female. Body length 1.4−1.6 mm. Body generally dark brown with a strong metallic blue or purple blue sheen, scutellum medially greenish; antenna dark brown but F6 yellowish-white ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 ); fore wing strongly infuscate as in Fig. 11 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 ; fore leg dark brown except apices of femur and tibia marked with yellow, tarsi brownish-yellow ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 ); mid leg yellow except coxa, subapical band on femur and subbasal band on tibia dark brown ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 ); hind leg dark brown except base of femur and apex of tibia yellow ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 ).

Head. Head in dorsal view with frontovertex 1/6−1/5 head width; ocelli arranged in acute triangle of about 30°; posterior ocellus touching inner eye margin, and separated from occipital margin by nearly 4 × its own diameter; antenna ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 ) with scape about 4.5 × as long as broad; F1 and F2 transverse and subequal in size, distinctly shorter than F3−F6; F3 rarely subquadrate; F4−F6 longer than wide or subquadrate; clava about as long as funicle; mandible quadridentate.

Thorax. Fore wing ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 ) about 2.3 × as long as broad; marginal vein conspicuously long, about 4 × as long as broad; stigmal vein about half as long as marginal vein; postmarginal vein short, slightly longer than half as long as stigmal vein.

Gaster. Ovipositor sheaths ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 10 − 15. 10 − 15 ) slightly exserted, by about 1/7−1/6 gaster length.

Relative measurements. MT 64, OL 90, GL 32.

Male. Unknown.

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. China.

Holotype. Ψ ( IZCAS), CHINA: Yunnan, Xishuangbanna, 13.viii.2006, coll. G. Zheng.

Paratypes. CHINA: same data as holotype (3 ΨΨ); same data except collected 27.vii.2006 (2 ΨΨ).

Comments. Adelencyrtus biannulatus is close to A. bifasciatus (Ishii) . In biannulatus F1 and F2 are transverse and subequal in size, distinctly shorter than F3, the frontovertex is about 1/6−1/5 the head width, and the mid femur has a subapical (about 1/3 femur length) dark brown band. In A. bifasciatus F1−F3 are subequal in size and smaller than F4, the frontovertex is about 1/5−1/4 the head width, and the mid femur is broadly (at least apical half) dark brown.
