FEMALE (Specimens measured – Angola: 1, Malawi: 5, South Africa 21).
Dorsum – Dorsal shield imbricated laterally,328359 long and 231254 wide. Setae j1 3739, j3 3238, j4 12, j5 12, j6 15, J2 15, J5 8, z2 31, z4 3235, z5 12, Z1 1820, Z4 1720, Z5 7685, s4 54 55, S2 31, S4 2528, S5 3235, r3 1820, R1 1517. All dorsal setae smooth, except Z5 which are serrated.
Peritreme – Reaching level of setae j3.
Venter – All ventral shields smooth. Distances between ST1ST3 5458, ST2ST2 66 67, ST5ST5 7679. A single pair of metapodal shields. Ventrianal shield 106116 long, 4750 wide at ZV2 level and 76 at anus level.
Chelicera – Movable digit 25 long, with 5 teeth; fixed digit 2528 long, with 1 tooth.
Spermatheca – Calyx tubular, 1316 long; atrium between broad calyx and broad major duct.
Legs – Macrosetae knobbed: SgeII 28, SgeIII 3539, SgeIV 57, StiIII 2631, StiIV 34 39, StIV 6269. One specimen even bears a knobbed macrosetae on genu I; chaetotaxy of genu II 22/0, 2/01; genu III 12/1,2/01.
MALE (Specimens measured – South Africa: 6).
Dorsum – Dorsal shield 253277 long. Setae j1 2631, j3 3137, j4 15, j5 15, j6 1520, J2 1520, J5 8, z2 2631, z4 3137, z5 15, Z1 1823, Z4 1823, Z5 5362, s4 4246, S2 26 31, S4 2631, S5 3137, r3 1520, R1 15.
Peritreme – Extending to a level between setae z2 and z4.
Venter – Ventrianal shield 102117 long and 131171 wide at anterior corners.
Chelicera – Shaft of spermatodactyl 28 long. It is truncated distally, bulged subapically with a hook on one side.
