Description of Roseomonas lacus View in CoL G11
Cells are gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, and coccoid-shaped. Colonies are circular, raised, entire, and cream-colored after 2 days of incubation at 30°C on R2 A. Positive for nitrate reduction and urease activity. Negative for indole production, glucose fermentation, esculin hydrolysis, and arginine dihydrolase, gelatinase, and β - galactosidase activities. Potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, and trisodium citrate are utilized. Does not utilize D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, Dmannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D-maltose, and phenylacetic acid. Strain G 11 (= NIBRBAC000498068) was isolated from a tidal flat sample, Incheon, Korea .
