Dryophilocoris (Dryophilocoris) kanyukovae Josifov & Kerzhner 1984: 220 View in CoL .

Diagnosis. Easily distinguished from its congeners by the orange posterior lobe of pronotum with brownish stripe.

Description. Female: Body elongate, parallel-sided; dorsal surface dark chestnut brown, with sparse pubescence. Head shiny fuscous, glabrous. Antenna dark brown, apex of antennal segment I yellowish brown, slender; lengths of segments I–IV: 0.60–0.65, 1.85–1.87, 0.97–0.98, 0.32–0.39. Rostrum yellowish brown, reaching apex of middle coxa; apical part of segment IV dark. Pronotum entirely pilose except basal margin, yellowish brown or orange on posterior lobe, sometimes with a longitudinal stripe along with middle of pronotum (see remarks), calli dark grayish brown, pruinose, with sparse, silky pubescence; mesoscutum and scutellum dark grayish brown, shagreened, somewhat arched, transversely rugose; pleura widely grayish brown, pruinose, except for propleuron shiny dark brown. Hemelytra dark brown, weakly shagreened; anterolateral part of corium and base and apex of cuneus widely yellow; embolium yellow; membrane dark grayish brown, with a pale spot along apex of cuneus. Coxae and legs yellow; femora, tibial spines pale brown, trochanter dark brown, metatibia with dark brown stripe, tarsi dark brown; lengths of hind femur, tibia and tarsus, 1.74–1.78, 2.56–2.64, 0.33–0.36. Abdomen entirely dark brown; ovipositor yellowish brown. Genitalia (Figs. 15–16): K-structure well-developed, broad at basal part; anterior wall large, with welldeveloped sclerotized rings; Male: Genitalia with tooth shaped vesica at apex; left paramere small, narrow; right paramere broad with long spine at apex (for description of male species, see Josifov and Kerzhner, 1984).

Dimensions (in mm). Female: Body length 5.89–6.23; head width including eyes 0.98–1.04; vertex width 0.45–0.48; rostral length 1.25–1.47; mesial pronotal length 0.79–0.95; basal pronotal width 1.35–1.39; width across hemelytra 1.48–1.14.

Distribution. Russia (Fareast), Korea (Whole).

Biology. The species is confirmed to feed on the leaves of Quercus aliena during laboratory observations. The species is sometimes attracted to light traps in May in Korea.

Remarks. The specimens from South Korea show a light orange color pattern on the entire pronotum, whereas the ones from the Fareast Russia and North Korea show a dark orange color pattern on the entire pronotum, and a brownish longitudinal stripe on the posterior lobe of the pronotum.
