Replacement name for Pegohylemyia trifurcata Hennig (1976: 953) , preoccupied by Hylemyia (Botanophila) trifurcata Huckett (1947: 14) .
Remarks. As a result of the broadening of the concept of Botanophila by Michelsen (1983), trifurcata Hennig becomes a junior secondary homonym of trifurcata Huckett , and therefore requires a new name.
