Diagnosis (male). Wing with maculae adjacent to M1, M2 and along anterior margin.
Material examined. Holotype ♂, Mexico, Ver., Jalapa, 9–28.x.1961, R. & K. Dreisbach col. ( USNM) . Additional material: MEXICO: 1♂, Chiapas: San Cristobal , 16.75ºN, 92.67ºW, 20.vii.1969, Malaise trap, 2000 m, W. Manson col. ( LACM) GoogleMaps ; GUATEMALA: 1♂, Sacatepéquez: Sumpango : Durwest farm, 14.67ºN, 90.72ºW, 10– 16.iii.2007, Malaise trap, M. Hooddle col. ( LACM) GoogleMaps .
Hypopygium description ( Fig. 126). The hypopygium has no conspicuous differences from that of C. bilineata .
Geographical distribution. From Costa Rica to Mexico.
