Discocera coccinea ( Fabricius 1798)

Distribution: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Surinam. Material studied ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ): Bolivia: Santa Cruz: Buena Vista: 17º 47´S 63º 12´W, 1 male, III/1951. Pando: Santa Fe de Chipri: 10º 47´S 66º 59´W, 1 male, 1 female, IV/ 1953, Martínez col., (MLP). Paraguay: 1 male, 3 females, (MLP).

Observations: We confirm the presence of this species in Paraguay.
