Material. Holotype PIN 3429/1174, imprint of gyne without head. Biamo.

Description. Gyne. Judging by the remained parts the length of a body ca.5mm. Waist consisting of 1segment (petiole); gaster with constriction between 1st and 2nd gastral (abdominal III and IV) segments. Petiole without free posterior surface, broadly attached to 1st gastral segment, in lateral view separated from gaster only by constriction. Helcium in profile attached to upper part of anterior surface of 1st gastral segment. Mesosoma 1.6times as long as high. Scutum convex in side view, twice as long as scutellum.Propodeum nearly straight in side view. Petiole with rounded antero-dorsal corner in side view.

Measurements of holotype, mm: AL1.75; PtL0.52; SctL0.74.

Comparison. Petiole structure and its attachment to the gaster are uniquely characteristic of Amblyoponinae, and the convex dorsal contour of mesosoma implies a position of the new species to the genus Casaleia . Reliable comparison to other congeners is problematic because the previously described species are described after fossils buried in dorsal aspect.

Etymology. Orientalis is the Latin for eastern.
