Type:— ECUADOR. Morona-Santiago: epiphytic in cloud forest along the new road west of Macas toward Guamote , 1500 m, 6 Feb 1987, Luer et al. 12715 (holotype: MO-5259577!) .
Note:— The holotype of this taxon is Luer et al. 12715 not Hirtz et al. 4635 as originally stated, a correctable mistake according to Art. 9.2.
