Description. Ground color ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1. a – e f–i) dark brown, face light brown, margins of frontoclypeus darker, eyes and basal triangles of mesonotum black.
Male 2S abdominal apodemes ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 c) extended to hind margin of fourth sternite.
Dorsal lobe ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 d–f) with conspicuous tubercle at tip; upper pair of pygofer appendages extended from caudal margin of pygofer side, lower pair extended from base of pygofer side, curved dorsad, twisted apically, region between them membranous. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 i) with about 3–4 marginal macrosetae, short rigid microsetae at tip elongated. Style ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 j, k) shorter than connective, blunt apically, preapical lobe indistinct. Connective ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 l) crescent-shaped in lateral view, approximately equal in size to aedeagal shaft. Aedeagal shaft ( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 l–n) curved dorsad, with pair of lateral processes subapically, directed dorsad.
Measurement. Male length 4.9–5.2mm.
Material examined. Holotype: 3, CHINA, Hainan Prov., Mt. Diaoluo, 900m, 10. iv. 2008, coll. Men Qiulei. Paratypes: 183, same data as holotype.
Deposition. Entomological Museum, Northwest A&F University, Yangling, China.
Etymology. This new specific epithet is named after the collector Men Qiulei.
