Current name: Polygala bracteolata L. ( Polygalaceae ).

Note: Levyns (in J. S. African Bot. 21: 24. 1955) and Paiva (in Fontqueria 50: 273. 1998) wrongly indicated material (presumably sheet 882.12) in LINN as the type. However, this collection lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “5”) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name.
