Discussion. This subspecies differs from the nominotypical subspecies of S. huangshanensis Liu, 2000 in apical area of male genitalia expanded, nearly trapezoidal, which positioned on the notch of tenth abdominal tergite; female tenth abdominal tergite prolonged posteriorly, with 1 broad and shallow concavity on posterior margin. For male calling song, the number of impulses in isolated syllables is less, while the peak frequency is higher. Based on these, we treated this subspecies as a subspecies of Sinocyrtaspis huangshanensis Liu, 2000 .
