Psammochares binaevus Haupt 1930: 228 , Ƥ (holotype, Ƥ, Jaschil-kul-summē (westl. Täler, 57), 3850 m, 29.VIII [1928] (Yashilkul Lake, Tajikistan; 37º45'N, 73º02'E) [Zool. Mus. Berlin]).

Pompilus sogdianus: Morawitz 1893: 401 , Ƥ nec 3 (lectotype, 3).

Arachnospila (Arachnospila) binaeva: Zonstein 1989: 41 , Ƥ nec 3; 2002a: 115.

Diagnosis of female. Protarsomere 1 with four spines of tarsal comb; metanotum median length 1.9–2.0 × metapostnotum median length; 2r-m vein of fore wing almost straight (Figs 42, 66), hind wing as in Fig. 43; metasoma black ( Fig. 3 ). MALE. Unknown.

Material examined. Tajikistan. Paralectotype (Ƥ) of Pompilus sogdianus Morawitz 1893 with labeles " TRKST. JAGNOB / KOL / Glasunov 1892. // к. Ф. Моравица [cyrillic] // colensis Ƥ / F. Moraw. // Paralectotypus / Pompilus sogdianus / F. Morawitz, 1893 Ƥ / design. Lelej & / Loktionov, 2010 // Arachnospila Ƥ / ( Arachnospila ) / binaeva (Haupt) / Lelej & Loktionov det."

Distribution. Tajikistan ( Haupt 1930).

Remarks. Zonstein (1989) recorded the males and females of A. binaeva from Kyrgyzstan, but later ( Zonstein 2002a, b) determined these males to be Pamirospila pamira (Haupt) and females to be A. sogdianoides (Wolf) . The male of A. binaeva is still unknown.
