Male. Measurements (holotype): total length 3.2; carapace length 1.4, width 1.0, index 1.4; labial index 1.42; clypeal index 1.0; MOQ index 11.6; legs length: I 4.6, II 3.7, III 3.1, IV 4.9; patella-tibia index 1.28.

Palpus. Large thick blackish embolus extends nearly the entire length of bulb terminating apically with split tip; brown bulky apical apophysis ends with thick bent tip ( Figs 53, 54 View FIGURES 53, 54 ). Long straight tibial apophysis extends apically on ectal side more than half length of cymbium ( Fig. 54 View FIGURES 53, 54 ).

The peculiar embolus and apical apophysis along with the elongate, straight tibial apophysis of the male palpus and, the epigynal plate of the female with the hood and median indentation and the peculiar spermathecal tubes are all diagnostic characters of Talanitoides habesor not possessed by any other gnaphosid.
