( Figs. 5–7 View FIGURES 5–7 ; 9 View FIGURES 8–9 )

Material examined. Holotype male. BRAZIL. Amapá: rio Aniconi , 16–VI–1959, J. Lane ( MZUSP).

Measurements. Body length: 9.5 mm; body width: 6.1 mm; head length: 1.7 mm; head width: 2.9 mm.

Etymology. This name is related to the yellow margin of the metapleuron.

Small size. Body castaneous, veins of hemelytra concolorous except radial vein pale yellow. Scutellar spots small. Hemelytra without dark spots. Medial ridge of the mesosternum black. Calloused area of metapleuron yellow. Abdomen ventrally dark castaneous, sparsely punctured. Spiracles near a tumid concolorous area. Medial retrorsely produced process of seventh abdominal segment narrow, long, flat, arising from apical margin, this even, and apex expanded and slightly curved ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 5–7 ).

Male ( Figs. 5–6 View FIGURES 5–7 ). Pygophore with dorsal rim projected medially. Posterolateral angle flattish and rectangular in lateral view. Ventral rim narrow and fold dorsally; area of contact with posterolateral angles not membranous.
