Punctated surface devoid of any ornamentation. Posterior end of opisthosoma with long opisthosomal lobes slightly attenuated apically, length 66 (58–66), width at the level of setae f2 37 (31–38), separated by terminal cleft; interlobar membrane wide, forms relatively long extensions on lobar apices by rounded ends; incision in the interlobar membrane roughly long triangular, 78 (71–79) long, 72 (77–78) wide. Supranal concavity large semiovate, poorly distinct. Setae h3 flattened and enlarged in medial part, greatest width 9 (6–12) ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ). Setae ps1 long, about 3 times longer than the distance between them. Setae d1, e1 represented by microsetae, setae d2 much shorter than the distance between them. Setae e1 slightly posterior to level of setae e2. Distance between hysteronotal setae: c2:d2 92 (87–99), d2:e2 118 (117–121), e2:h2 99 (88–92), h2:h3 47 (44–45), ps1:h3 65 (62– 65), ps2:ps2 124 (124–131), h2:h2 131 (122–131), h3: h3 100 (99–100), d1:d2 40 (34–37), e1:e2 19 (21–23).

Sternum long and thin, over 2/3 of total length of epimerites I, its posterior end extending to the level of setae 1a. Coxal fields II and III with triangular sclerotized areas in lateral parts, extending beyond level of coxal setae 1a and 4b respectively. Epimerites IVa narrow with setae 4a on their anterior ends. Genital arch height 18 (20–21), distance between tips 39 (38–41), aedeagus minute. Epiandrum bow–shaped, height 9 (8–9), distance between tips 35 (35–36). Paragenital apodemes long and narrow, flanking median area from the level of epiandrum to midlevel of trochanters III. Gastral shields consisted of a pair of trapeziums, length 48 (46–63), width of each 25 (26–27). Adanal shields shaped as a pair of triangular pieces connected by narrow transverse bridge ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ), bearing filiform setae ps3 on its anterior margin. Wide adanal membranes stretching from adanal shield to the level of tibia–tarsus IV articulation ( Fig. 5B View FIGURE 5 ). Anal suckers in shape of a low cylinder, 19 (17–21) in diameter. Cupules ih situated postero–lateral of adanal suckers, ih–ih 65 (63–71). Length of anal field from anterior margin of adanal shield to lobar apices 169 (173–179). Distance between ventral setae: 4b:4a 46 (49–51), 4b:g 45 (48–49), g:ps3 87 (83–92).

Legs: legs III hypertrophied; tarsus III 100 (97–103) long, setae w and s of tarsus III blade–like, 45 (46–48) and 20 (21–24) in length respectively, longer seta w extending to midlength of corresponding seta s ( Fig. 9G View FIGURE 9 ). Legs IV extending by ambulacral discs level of setae h2; tarsus IV conical, slightly curved, with bidentate apex, 42 (40– 42) in length.

FEMALE (range of measurements for 16 paratypes). Idiosoma 488–500 in length and 204–223 in width; length of hysterosoma from anterior margin of humeral shields to posterior end of opisthosoma 369–385. Prodorsal shield shaped as in male, length 92–105, width 84–96, with acute suprategumental extension 6–7 long, setae se separated by 63–76. Scapular shields as in male ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 ). Setae e1 absent, setae d1 present as microsetae, e2 shaped as very fine hairs ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 ). Distance between dorsal setae: c2:d2 86–91, d2:e2 122–135, e2:h3 117–129, h2:h2 101–119, h3:h3 83–97. Epimerites I as in male with thickened basal. Epigynum arched, 45–55 long, 20–25 wide. Setae 4b on tips of epigynum. Tarsus III 4 5–53 long, tarsus IV 56 –63 long, legs IV do not extend by ambulacral discs to the level of the posterior end of opisthosoma ( Fig. 6B View FIGURE 6 ).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the generic name of the host.

Differential diagnosis. The new species is closest to A. mironovi Kolarova, 2010 from Locustella luscinioides ( Passeriformes : Locustellidae ) in that the males of both species have subtegumental sclerotization on the hysteronotal shield and long subtriangular incisions of the interlobar membrane, extending beyond the midlength of the terminal cleft.

The new species differs from A. mironovi by the following features: in males of A. zosterops , the subtegumental sclerotization on the hysteronotal shield is bow-shaped, setae ps1 are about 3 times longer than the distance between them, and the wide adanal membranes stretch from the adanal shield to the level of tibia–tarsus IV articulation. In A. mironovi , the subtegumental sclerotization on the hysteronotal shield is crescent-shaped, setae ps1 are not longer than 1.5 times the distance between them, and the adanal membranes are narrow. Females of A. zosterops and A. mironovi differ in the length of setae e2: in females of the new species, the setae e2 are minute and about quarter length of the distance between them, in A. mironovi the setae e2 slightly longer, about half length of the distance between them.

Remark. In males, the membranous enlargement in the medial part of setae h 3 may have become rolled-up, thus affecting the measurement of its width.
