Teremitra View in CoL sp.

Figures 2 View FIGURE 2 R, 17D–E

Material examined. Taiwan, NE coast of Taiwan, off Suao, TAIWAN 2004, R/V Rih–Jheng 10, St. CP269, 24°30'N, 122°04'E, 397–417 m, 1 lv ( MNHN IM–2012–10754).

Remarks. This single specimen from Taiwan differs from Teremitra efatensis in its more slender outline. Although the protoconch and upper teleoconch whorls are corroded, it is possible to say that the protoconch was multispiral. We need additional material to confirm whether this slender shell falls, or does not fall, outside the variation of T. efatensis and thus whether a new species is involved.
