Reared specimens. MASSACHUSETTS: Franklin Co., Northfield , 42.646871, -72.426410, 24.viii.2018, em. 13– 19.v.2019, C.S. Eiseman, ex Populus tremuloides , # CSE5260 (3 adults, MLBM) GoogleMaps .
Hosts. * Salicaceae : Populus tremuloides Michx. ; all previous records have been of adults on unspecified Populus and Salix ( Clark et al. 2004) .
Biology. Larvae form blackish, upper-surface leaf mines like those of other Zeugophora spp. ( Fig. 121 View FIGURES 120–121 ). Eight larvae emerged from the five leaves collected; the last of these burrowed into soil on 28 August.
