Pseudotremia acheron Shear View in CoL

Material examined: Warren Co., Smith Grove Cave #1, ca. 8 miles E McMinnville, 2 females, J. Lewis, S. Lewis, H. Garland, C. Holliday, 27 May 2005.

This species was described by Shear (1972) from Higgenbotham Cave (=Cumberland Caverns), Warren Co. and McElroy Cave, Van Buren Co. Cumberland Caverns is actually east, rather than south, of McMinnville as reported by Shear. The locality listed above lies about 1 mile southeast of the typelocality in the same cove on Powder Mill Branch and is based on the similarity of the cyphopods. Males will be needed to confirm the identification.
