Like 15 (a) but panicle very wide; petals greyish-purple; capsule 15-18 mm, much exceeding calyx and 8-9 times as long as carpophore. • S. France. Ga.
Neither the wide panicle nor the flower-colour is diagnostic, since both can occur in 15; but the capsule character is very remarkable.
