Material. MALAYSIA: 2 ♂♂, 8 ♀♀: Perak, 30 km SE Ipoh, Cameron Highland, Ringlet. 900 m a.s.l. 25.04- 05.06.2001. P. Čechovský leg. (cSh, NMW) .

Remarks. Paraphloeostiba similis was originally described from Sumatra, Indonesia. The habitus as in Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–3 . It is here recorded from Malaysia for the first time.
