Vernacular Names: Bolanos Woodrat.

Distribution: EC Jalisco, México.

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (nt).

Discussion: Subgenus Neotoma . Specific distinctiveness from N. albigula reasserted by Hall and Genoways (1970), but see above comments under N. nelsoni .
