Status at New Ireland. Recorded from New Ireland in original description by White et al. (2017: 26), White & Ko'ou (2018: 27), based on the paratype collected northwest of Kavieng (NTUM 11491).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. Demersal, 630–786 m depth. Marine.
