Status at New Ireland. New record, from Kavieng District, based on NTUM material (1 specimen, St. CP 4436-2, north of Kavieng ).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean and western Pacific. Bathydemersal, 800–1300 m depth. Marine.
