Remarks. A record of Myctophum affine (non Lütken 1892) by Munro 1958: 121–122 (Cape Lambert-Kalili Harbour, New Ireland) could not be verified. Three additional, unidentified species of Diaphus collected off New Hanover are represented in the NTUM collection.
