Notes

This species is characterised by having a laterally stipitate basidiocarp, with a robust and black stipe, an irregular margin and cylindrical basidiospores. It was originally described from the Juan Fernandez Archipelago, near the coast of Chile ( Palacio et al. 2017). Currently, the species has a wide global distribution. In Colombia, this is the first record of the species for Tolima.

Diagnosis

Stipe black. Hyphal structure dimitic; generative hyphae clamped, hyaline; skeleto-binding hyphae yellowish. Basidia clavate, 4-sterigmate. Basidiospores cylindrical, thin-walled, hyaline, smooth, negative in Melzer’s Reagent, 5.7-6.1 × 2.4 μm.
