Distribution. Laccadive Sea, Andaman Sea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia (Galil 2003; Galil & Ng 2007). The synonymy of Tokoyo trilobata Komatsu, Manuel & Takeda, 2005 , with this species has been discussed at length by Galil & Ng (2007).
