D e s c r i p t i o n. A fragment of a simple leaf. Margin is entire, venation is brochidodromous.

D i s c u s s i o n. As the cuticle is not preserved, micromorphological details are not available for identification purposes. The entire margin and venation type, however, suggest the Lauraceae family. Leaves of Lauraceae , including the fossil genus Daphnogene , are frequent elements in the Egerian floras of Hungary.
