Distribution: — Mexico (Chis, Hgo, Oax, Pue, Ver), Guatemala.

Ecology: — Epiphytic; in Los Tuxtlas area and central Veracruz in montane rain and oak forests between 1050–2000 m .

Conservation status: — Least Concern ( LC) in Veracruz. Known from eight recent collections made at small natural forest fragments in four different localities in central Veracruz (not protected), and one specimen from Santa Marta, which is somewhat protected because it forms part of the nuclear zones of the Los Tuxtlas Biosphere Reserve . However, all these montane rain forest habitats, especially in the central region, are still under high anthropogenic pressure. Specimens examined: 12; TK collections: 8 .
