Dacrysoma fabrum  sp. n

(Figs. 11, 48, 59, 69, 86, 95)

Habitus Fig. 11. Length. 0.80–0.81 mm. Colour: yellowy brown, antennae and legs paler yellow. Antennae very short, antennomeres 3–11 Fig. 48View FIGURES 41 – 55. Male: aedeagus Fig. 95.

Female: spermatheca Fig. 86View FIGURES 77 – 89.

Etymology. This epithet is taken from the Latin adjective faber, meaning ingenious, and refers to the joined nature of the dumb-bell shaped antennomere 11.

Remarks. The absence of clear pronotal puncturation is similar to D. fusum  , but D. fabrum  may be separated from that and all other Dacrysoma  species examined to date except D. denticulatum  by the absence of a clearly defined dumb-bell shape to antennomere 11 which shows only a slight median narrowing. See D. longulum  for the possibility that females of that species may be confused with females of D. fabrum
