Diagnosis: This species can easily be identified by its pronotum with medain carina elevated, crossed by posterior sulcus at posterior fourth; prosternal process with anterior margin truncated in the middle.

Habitats: A restricted species feeding on vegetable collected from one locality only.

Material examined: Sebha Region: Samnu , 3♂, 3♀, on vegetable, 10.vi.1990 .

Localities: Cyrenaica: Marmarica; Fezzan: Samnu.

Distribution: Algeria, Libya.

Remarks: Earlier recorded from Cyrenaica by Salfi (1925a) and Dirsh (1965) from Libya.
