Current status: Conocephalus concolor peneri HARZ 1979 .

Remarks: One more female paratype than the number stated in the description is found in the SMNHTAU collection. Additional paratypes are deposited in the BMNH and in the collection of Kurt Harz (now in the Natural History Museum of Geneva).
