Myanmar: badi-byu, daukyat, mai-mot, mai-motawn, taukyat, ye-padi. English: officinal drypetes, putranjiv tree.

Range.

India. In Myanmar, found in Mandalay, Mon, and Yangon.

Use.

Leaf: Used to treat diabetes.

Note.

In India the leaf and fruit (including the stones) are used as a decoction for fevers and colds ( Jain and DeFilipps 1991).
