Material examined. Holotype (Ƥ) and paratype (1 Ƥ) of Pseudogonatopus validus : Ƥ, Malaysia: Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Spooner Road, 8.III.1936, H.T. Pagden coll., holotype [ BMNH]; Sri Lanka, Gampaha District, Yakkala, 1 paratype [ AMNH]. China: Guangdong: Yunjishan Provincial Nature Reserve, on grass, parasitized host collected 9.VI.2002, dryinid cocooning 12.VI.2002, dryinid adult emerged 29.VI.2002, M. Olmi reared from unidentified species of Delphacidae , 1 Ƥ [ MOLC]; Shixing County, Chebaling National Nature Reserve, 21–31.VIII.2003, Chen Jujian coll., 1 Ƥ [ ZJUC]; Meizhou, Fengxi Provincial Nature Reserve, 30.VII.2003, Jingxian Liu coll., 1 Ƥ [ ZJUC].
