Material examined: none.

Remarks. Beinhundner (2017a, 2017b) recorded the species for Angola without any precise locality. Jerath & Unny (1965) described the larvae of this species. Joly (2018) provided some biodiversity information (abundance, habitat preference) of this species for Ghana.
