Remarks. A species distributed throughout of southwestern Africa ( Ferreira 1965; Allard 1991; Holm & Marais 1992; Beinhundner 2017a). It seems to be a common species in the coastal lowland of Angola, namely in the proper Luanda city and neighbouring localities. Some adult specimens in Luanda (Nova Vida neighbourhood) were collected on the leaves of trees (e.g. Mango trees) feeding on aphid honeydew. More biological and ecological data were provided by Holm & Marais (1992). It is a new species record for the Bengo and Kwanza Sul Provinces.
