Genus Hypselogenia Burmeister, 1840

The genus was revised by Krikken (1979a) and includes four species, one of them recorded for Angola. An identification key for the species was given in that work also. Antoine (2003) gave some notes on the similarities and mimicry of representatives of this genus with the genera Leucocelis and Mausoleopsis . Beinhundner & Perissinotto (2018) updated the species and subspecies checklist of this genus and its general distribution.
